The Skip Bag has to be a level load do not overfill. Clay, topsoil, runnel etc: are OK up to the maximum weight. The maximum permitted weight of 1250 kg is normally reached when the skip bag is 75% full. TO COMPLY WITH LOCAL BYE-LAWS SKIP BAGS MUST BE PLACED ON PRIVATE PROPERTY.

Some items that cannot be put into a skip bag: sharps, medical, chemical or toxic waste (paints solvents etc), asbestos, chemicals, oils, tyres, fluorescent tubes, light bulbs, batteries, fridges, fridge-freezers, food waste, liquids, sludge or animal remains.
